Pritikin Exercise Program

Pritikin Fitness CenterAt the Pritikin Longevity Center & Spa, you'll discover the true power your body possesses. Those who have not exercised in years will be astounded when their hidden well of strength is tapped. There may be aches at first as you become acquainted with muscles you never knew you had. But the wealth of new-found energy you discover will be your inspiration to push your body to its fullest potential.

A team of fitness professionals

Our fitness staff is comprised of dedicated professionals with Bachelor's or Master's degrees in Exercise Physiology. Over the years, they've helped thousands of people rediscover their strength and vitality, and they will do the same for you.

Your daily exercise program

We've created a simple and practical fitness program that you can easily continue at home. And for the benefit of those normally intimidated by a gym environment, you'll find that each of our classes consists of people with similar exercise capabilities.

Pritikin Fitness Center

Each daily workout begins with a warm-up followed by 45 minutes of cardiovascular training using a variety of state-of-the-art equipment. Your cardiovascular workout will be followed by 30 minutes of strength and flexibility training.

Your Exercise Physiologists will be there to guide your workout - checking your heart rate, helping improve your endurance, and charting your progress. And, of course, answering any questions.

Exercise options

You'll find a variety of elective classes at all exercise levels including Low Impact and Step Aerobics, Body Sculpting, Relax and Renew, Yoga, and many others.

Working out at home

At the end of your stay, you'll be given an exercise prescription you can follow at home. Throughout the following months, this program will help you continue to lose weight and build strength. Once you have achieved your health and fitness goals, your daily workout will continue to provide renewed energy and strength to help you maintain your success.
